Huotinniemi - the border cabinsClose to the Russian border by the Oulanka river is Huotinniemi camp. The camp consist of two new-built (2004) cabins and a smoke sauna. Huotinniemi offers a magnificent place to have an evening gathering and/or to stay over night.The cabins are made of dead pine and they have room for 15-20 persons.
Oulanka forest cabinThe old floater cabin is an excellent place for bigger groups to stay over night. It is also a good place for family celebrations and business meetings. There you can have half or full board as you wish.The popular Karhunkierros trail is only a few kilometers away. There is no other settlement nearby. In the Oulanka forest cabin there is room for 37 persons in total and the rooms are for 4-5 person. There is a lounge, washroom, sauna and a fire place. Also smaller groups are welcome!
FoodSalmon or reindeer followed by golden cloudberries for dessert, are the heart of Kuusamo menu in special occasions.We will plan the menu according your wishes. |
